The capital's athletes launched the republican challenge “Атқа міну дәстүрі”

Today, employees of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports organized a republican challenge at the Argymak equestrian sports complex. It is timed to coincide with the 5th World Nomad Games, which will be held in the capital this fall.

Over 150 people took part in the challenge, including workers in this field and famous athletes such as Vasily Levit, Akmaral Nauatbek, Edige Emberdi, Temirlan Mukataev, Nurbek Talbudin and Emma Tisina.

The participants also tried their hand at tug of war. The victory was won by the employees of the Tolkyn sports complex.

In our republic, such a challenge is being held for the first time. It was launched by the capital's athletes and transferred to other regions of Kazakhstan.

“Equestrian games are our national treasure. The horse is considered a symbol of the Kazakh people. Now we see how national sports are being revived. Much attention is paid. Therefore, we are incredibly glad that the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the city of Astana has launched a wonderful challenge to popularize our sports.

We, the capital's athletes, convey “Atka minu dasturi” to all regions of our country, as well as to the megacities of Almaty and Shymkent. We urge athletes and staff to take an active part,” said the head of “Children and Youth School No. 9” Aidyn Tokbaev.

The organizers emphasized that such events aimed at popularizing national sports will be held on an ongoing basis.
